The HLSQ-400S is the base configuration of our 400 platform: a four-axis PLC bridge saw built as a single monoblock unit. It carries a 3500 x 2100 mm worktable and a diamond blade in the 350 to 400 mm range, cuts up to 80 mm thick, travels 3500 mm on the horizontal axis, and lifts 250 mm. The main motor is 15 kW, and water draw is 3.5 m3/h during cutting.
Control comes from a Panasonic PLC running four-axis interpolation. The cutting head turns through a full 0 to 360 degrees, the blade is used at two positions, 0 degrees for straight cutting and 45 degrees for a mitred joint, and the worktable tips to 85 degrees so a slab can be loaded from a low angle. In short, the HLSQ-400S is the saw: it cuts slab to size, mitres an edge, and follows shapes and curves from the control.
The HLSQ-400 Plus is the same machine with one addition. It carries a 5.5 kW electric spindle on the cutting head, alongside the saw blade.
Main Features
LINEAR GUIDE SYSTEM
All three axes run on linear guides - X, Y and Z. The slides use rolling balls, so movement is smooth. The crossbeam and side beam guideways sit in oil and stay lubricated.
PLC CONTROL SYSTEM
A PLC with a touch screen runs the machine. The panel is on a swing arm, so you can turn it to face you. Pick the shape on the screen - no programming.
LASER RETICULE APPARATUS
A laser on the cutting head shows the blade's cutting line on the slab. Line the mark up with the laser instead of looking along the blade.
AUTO LUBRICATING SYSTEM
